About 30 minutes before writing this I was really feeling this. Here I am about to start my 2nd year of school and I am already feeling so overwhelmed. Finding a job, fixing my guitar, paying the bills, wanting to be apart of different teams going on, preparing for summer camp, wanting to talk to family, AND preparing for college... AHHH!
But I'm not feeling so overwhelmed anymore.. 30 minutes ago my beautiful flatmates turned on some worship music and I was compelled to sing praises to my King. He is my comforter.

Matthew 11: 28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
He knows whats going on. He knows whats going to happen even if I don't. He's got this. He always has and always will. Its ok to feel stressed or overwhelmed! But its what you do about it that matters. We can choose to dwell in it and allow it to take over, or we can give it to God. One is going to bring growth and the other will lead to destruction.
James 1: 2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
I have no doubt that this year will come with other struggles. I have no doubt that there will be more times where I feel overwhelmed. But I know that I will always find rest in the arms of my savior Jesus. I am going to choose to look at these situations as another growing season. I choose to find joy in my struggles.
